Endocrine Disrupting Compounds (EDC): This committee has been monitoring the scientific research on the issues relating to endocrine disrupting compounds, and also investigating risk assessment of chemicals. The committee plans to reorganize its structure so that more broad activities could be promoted to cover safety (risk) issues relating to food and food ingredients.
